Design Development & BIM
We at LMC believe that the best results in project delivery are achieved through partnership and effective collaboration and to this end we are firm believers in early involvement in the design process. Our Team has been connecting up to modular systems for over 30 years and we bring all of our experience to the table at design stage to maximise the useful floor area and the most economical use of service shafts. As we come from an engineering background we service our PODs with ease of connection and after care as primary design drivers.
Our steel frame construction allows us to be completely versatile in the design of our PODs while providing excellent fire and acoustic ratings.
We are very excited about the possibilities that the emergence of BIM has brought for the Industry and have fully embraced the system. We aim to be an Industry Leader in collaborative processes. We have developed and invested in a bespoke BIM collaboration venue at our factory and in our Dublin office which will provide an environment for the entire project team to fully interact. The environment includes state of the art collaborative audio visual equipment providing simultaneous on-site and off-site interaction and live access to the Common Data Environment (CDE). This allows everyone from the Client and their Design Team through to Project Costing Teams, Main Contractors and Specialist sub-contractors to work in a fully collaborative environment. We can cater for each stage of the process from the development of the Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR), BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) through to the Project Information Model (PIM) and the Asset Information Model (AIM). It is our company policy whether the construction is a traditional build or a BIM project to deliver a fully interactive Asset Information Model (AIM) at handover. Providing each Client with an information model used to manage, maintain and operate the assets.
