Our sincere thanks to everyone that took part and attended the recent Memorial Match for Liam Kealy - an employee of LMC Group who sadly passed away earlier this year. A team from LMC Group and Irish Prison Service employees played Liam’s beloved St. Joseph’s Club at Kellyville GAA Pitch in County Laois. It was a great match full of commitment and passion from both sides. We want to thank all of the participants and everyone in attendance for their support of this good cause.

The Construction Industry Federation (CIF) established the Building Equality Working Group in late 2017. This group’s key priority is to promote equality of opportunity in the industry and to position construction as a viable and attractive career option for all groups from an early age. The 2018 #BuildingEquality campaign seeks to change engrained perceptions of the construction industry and promote equality of opportunity for all.
LMC is fully supporting the idea and is very proud to have our Associate Director Krystyna Dimtchev as part of the Building Equality committee.
For more information, updates and inspiring stories, please visit the CIF website here.
LMC Group recently bought two defibrillators for our offices. Following on, LMC Group provided defibrillator courses for its employees. The training courses were carried out by qualified instructors in the LMC offices in Dublin and Birdhill in County Tipperary. The AED is an important component in the chain of survival and this practical course taught participants how to use them effectively. These informative courses were very comprehensive and provided hands on training that reinforced skills and expertise. Well done to all of our staff that took part!
We are pleased to partner with Medwise to provide health surveillance for our employees. A team from Medwise recently visited our facility in Birdhill in Tipperary to conduct a comprehensive screening programme. The Health Check is a wide-ranging medical check-up that is designed to pick up any significant health issues at an early stage. The clinical staff provide ‘an Operation Transformation’ type of medical assessment that gives employees the information and the opportunity to take stock of their health and to take steps to maintain it. The Health Check is completely confidential between the individual and the Medwise Clinical Team. The health and safety of our employees remains our priority at all times. If you have any queries, please contact our Health & Safety Manager Paula Nugent here or you can find out more information here.
