Construction/Production Scheduler

LMC Modular is Ireland’s leading modular construction solution provider. The company provides complete modular design and build solutions for developers and contractors.

 

Due to our expanding portfolio of projects, we are currently seeking a full time Construction/Production Scheduler with at least three years’ experience to join our team. This position will be based in our new facility in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. We are looking for a candidate with a strong knowledge of Excel and an excellent understanding of construction projects.

 

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  •          Producing construction schedules in accordance client needs with our Project Manager
  •          Working on a number of projects simultaneously
  •          Maintaining schedules as projects progress
  •          Monitor and record planned versus actual progress
  •          Working with production and procurement to capture and log any issues affecting progress
  •          Monitor fabrication and construction on the production floor
  •          Attend daily meetings  and advise on any planning/scheduling issues
  •          Issue daily and weekly construction progress reports
  •          Monitoring and controlling lead times and delivery of all materials to meet production/construction needs
  •          Monitoring and controlling logistics and delivery of completed modular units to client sites throughout the country
  • Liaising with LMC personnel in the design office, procurement and production on a daily basis

  • Good time-management skills and proven track record in working to deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team and also on own initiative
  • Capable of working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Sound communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Quality focused with ability to achieve a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Relevant third level qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ scheduling experience essential
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project
