Toolbox talks and presentations were delivered to office and site staff daily on the following topics:

  • Thursday, October 25th – Working Safely with Hazardous Substances
  • Friday October 26th – Working Safely with Vehicles

Our site staff in Cork enjoyed a presentation organised by JJ Rhatigan on the topic of ‘Positive Mental Health’ and former Ireland and Munster rugby player David Corkery shared his own story about his mental health battle.

Our Modular staff appreciated a very informative presentation by Hilti related to tools used in the factory and gained a deep insight in to Hazardous Substances such as Dust & Silica and learned about Vibration and Control Measures Procedures.

Our Health & Safety Department attended a seminar with the HSA about the subject of Improving Health & Safety Practices In The Construction Sector.

Overall, our 2018 Construction Safety Week was a very busy, informative and enjoyable week.

Thank you to everyone for participating and remember to think Health & Safety all year around!
